EncryptOnClick allows you to encrypt and decrypt a file by dragging the file to the application shortcut (or put a shortcut in your send to folder for easier access). It asks for a password and presto. That’s it. Very simple indeed. The original file gets shredded (ie not recoverable from your harddisk unlike a simple delete) and the new file gets the extension .EOC. If you send it to people that don’t have the EOC software, no sweat, the files are compatible with zip 9.0 and above and can be opened with any other zip and AES compatible software.
